Pengendali Listrik Rumah Berbasis Cloud Computing

Abstract
Makalah ini membahas mengenai cara untuk mengurangi konsumsi energi pada rumah melalui penyediaan informasi kepada penghuni mengenai penggunaan listrik di rumahnya, dan menyediakan cara yang efektif untuk merespon informasi tersebut. Makalah ini mengusulkan sebuah Sistem Monitoring Listrik Rumah (SMLR). Sensing, monitoring, dan actuating adalah bagian dari SMLR yang berperan penting dalam mengurangi konsumsi energi di rumah dapat diakses melalui web browser dan perangkat mobile. Sistem ini dibangun dalam sebuah platform cloud computing yang menyediakan tools dan mekanisme yang membantu pengembangan aplikasi di lingkungan cloud yang membantu user untuk memonitor dan mengontrol peralatan listrik yang ada dirumah. Hasil Riset ini diharapkan dapat mendorong pengguna untuk mengubah kebiasaan mereka dalam menggunakan listrik. Pengguna akan memperhatikan penggunaan listrik mereka karena mereka sadar untuk menggunakan listrik se-efisien mungkin. Semakin banyak listrik yang dihemat, semakin sedikit mereka menghabiskan uang untuk membayar tagihan.
